Circuit tester
A circuit that can help distinguish electrical conductors from electrical insulators.
Ex: battery, wires and bulb (connect with different materials to test them)
Electric current
The flow of electric charge (electricity) through a material.
Direct current (DC)
A type of current that only flows in one direction (unlike AC which periodically reverses direction).
Voltage
The name for the electric force that causes electrons to flow. It's the measure of potential difference between two points in the circuit.
Voltage may come from a battery or a power plant (energy source).
Resistance
