The Elkins act made it so that railroads had to post their rates, the Hepburn act said that railroads could only charge up to a certain amount. They strengthened the interstate commerce commission (ICC)

Meat inspection act dictated strict cleanliness requirements, the pure food and drug act halted the sale of contaminated foods and medicines and called for truth in labeling
