What is a text feature?
Parts of the text that stand out from the rest of the text. They bring attention to important details for better understanding.
The name of a book, essay, or article
a picture, map, or graph found in writing to help us visualize what we are reading about
could be found near a picture that is inserted in the text- it explains or informs
the name of a section of a text - "mini title" ; tells what the passage will mainly be about
