An extension of the choroid that attaches to suspensory ligaments that hold the lens in place behind the iris
Inflamed, reddend, and swollen conjunctiva with dilated blood vessels in the sclera - also known as pinkeye
Surface of the cornea is curved more steeply in one area, so there is no single point of focus - the patient's vision is blurry both near and at a distance
Farsightedness - patient can see things clearly in the distance, but close things are blurry
Nearsightedness - Patient can see things clearly that are close, but things in the distance are blurry
Procedure to select the strength of lens that corrects the patient's refractive error to give 20/20 vision
