Note: when used in a sentence to say that we showed something to someone, several things happen:
1. nîşan takes an î on the end of the word
2. the name of the person or the pronoun comes between nîşanî and dan,
3. the root of dan becomes -d-, and
4. the present tense marker di- comes at the beginning of -d-.

Notice that tîn- does NOT take the normal di- present tense marker. It is absorbed into the verb.
