The Views in Microsoft powerpoint 2010 lets you edit, Print, and deliver your Presentation. You can find Powerpoint Views in 2 places- 1. On the View tab, in the presentation views and master view groups. 2. On an easy to use bar at the bottom of the powerpoint window where the main views ( Normal, Slide sorter, reading and slide show) are available.
What is the difference in using slide shows tab and F5 to view your presentation?
Slideshow tab shows the slideshow from the currently open slide, whereas, on pressing F5key on the keyboard lets you view the presentation from the first slide.

You can insert your presentation by inserting a text box.
What is difference between Outline tab and Slide tab?
Slide tab shows thumbnails of your slides whereas outline tab shows th text of you slide.
What is the function of status bar?
The Status bar displays the number of slide that is currently displayed, the total number of slides and the name of the design template in use or the name of the background.

Place holder holds objects in your slide.
Slide Sorter view
Slide Sorter View shows the thumbnails of all your slides.
Rulers are vertical and horizontal guides in a slide.
Zooming in makes the slide larger so you can focus on an object.
