suffix
a group of letters placed at the end of a word to change its meaning
synonym
words that have similar or the same meaning
antonym
Words with opposite meanings
homonym
they are pronounced or spelled the same way but have different meanings
homophone
words pronounced alike, but different in spelling or meaning (example: hair/hare, scale (fish)/scale (musical)).
homograph
words written the same way, but pronounced differently, and have different meanings. (example: windy day, windy road.)
main idea
What the selection is mostly about (like the topic)
details
are the facts and descriptions of the events and ideas that make a reading selection interesting
