Respect
To esteem, prize, or value a person (or thing).
Relationship
An ongoing connection made with another person.
Active Listening
Attentive listening that occurs when the listener focuses his or her complete attention on the speaker

A way of communicating information or feelings nonverbally, through body movements, posture, gestures, and facial expressions

The quality of being honest and being morally upright
Conflict
A struggle between opposing forces
Negotiation
A form of communication between sides in a conflict in which a solution occurs only when both parties agree after discussing back and forth
Compromise
A settlement in which each side gives up some of its demands in order to reach an agreement.
Collaboration
(High assertiveness, high cooperation) occurs when both parties work together to maximize outcomes
Mediation
Helping to settle differences by having someone (a mediator - peer or adult) go between opposing parties and help them arrive at a solution
Offender
A person who demonstrates aggression deliberately and persistently directed against a particular victim, typically one who is weak, vulnerable, and defenseless.
Cyber Bullying
Bullying that takes place by email, instant messaging, social media, text messages or web sites
Intimidation
the act of intimidating a weaker person to make them do something
Social Thinking
The ability to consider your own and others thoughts, emotions, intentions to help you respond to information and interact socially
Victim
The person receiving the repeated offensive / bullying act
Upstander
A person who takes a stand against an offensive act towards someone else (takes a stand against an act of bullying)
Bystander
A person who is witness to something but does nothing to prevent or get involved
