Describe how wind instrument produce sound, and explain why shorter instruments have a higher pitch.
Wind instruments produce sound when a player blows air across a hole. This causes the particles in a column of air to vibrate and produce sound. Shorter instruments have higher pitches because there is a shorter column of air in these instruments.

The sun is a source of light that warms Earth and allows plant to make to their own food. Fire is also a source of light. It provides warmth and light to people and allows people to cook food.
