Integrated and interoperable information systems and technologies that provide information about patient care.
Systems to track processes such as bed availability and to provide documentation of time lapses used in analysis of data and planning.
Structure allowing for documentation of assessment elements, interventions, patient response, and coordination of documentation by all disciplines.
Use of lightweight tablet computers with built-in scanning devices for bar-code recognition.
