compound word
A compound word is made up of two words that come together to make one new word.
synonym
A word that means the same as another word
opposite
A word that expresses a meaning opposed to the meaning of another word, in which case the two words are antonyms of each other
contracction
A contraction is a shortened form of one or two words (one of which is usually a verb). In a contraction, an apostrophe takes the place of the missing letter or letters.
word groups
A determinate amount of words that belong between them; as gifts, cakes, piñatas, candies clowns, belong to the group PARTIES
telling sentence
A sentence that tells us something. Telling sentences end in a period.
