Capabilities

Framework
Could include the type of vehicle being utilized, the capabilities of the vehicle, and the ground station and software
Mission
A flight by an aircraft or spacecraft to perform a specific task
Platform
The framework for UAS system
Flight Plan
Based on the flight team's mission, gives the team the opportunity to plot the safest and most efficient path the aircraft will take; documents filed prior to departure which indicate the plane's planned route or flight path
Geofence
A virtual perimeter for a real-world geographic area
Manual Flight
Conducted without the use of an automated flight plan
Waypoint
Reference point in physical space used for purposes of navigation, otherwise known as a landmark
Altitude Hold
Maintains a consistent altitude while allowing roll, pitch, and yaw to be controlled normally
Binding
The process of training the transmitter and receiver to communicate with each other
Calibration
