What are the public health concerns with threadworm?
larva currens (or cutaneous larva migrans), GI signs.
Clinical signs of threadworm?
Young pups or immuno-compromised get watery or mucous diarrhoea and vomiting, Bronchopneumonia -auto-infective larvae
What anthelmintic treatment for threadworm?
All extra-label / off-label use only:
Fenbendazole and Ivermectin over repeated treatments to kill maturing adults
