It names a person, place, thing, animal, or idea. Proper nouns name particular persons, places, etc., and are capitalized
It takes the place of a noun. An antecedent is the noun that a pronoun stands for.

It connects words or word groups. The coordinating conjunctions are for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so.
It shows sudden, usually strong, feeling.
It modifies a noun or pronoun. It tells us which one, how many, or what kind.
