In Spanish there are two verbs for "to be": SER and ESTAR.
SER is used for more permanent actions, where as ESTAR is used for temporary actions.
«How you feel» and «Where you are», that is when you use ESTAR! <<What you're like>> and <<Where you're from>> is when you use the "other" one (SER)"
SER is used for "D.O.C.T.O.R."
ESTAR is used for "P.L.A.C.E."
A-Action (Present Progressive - when doing something now ESTAR is the helping verb in: "I am speaking")
