dx/treatment for cholecystitis

dx: ultrasound! thickening of gallbladder = cholecystitis. 95% show stones. Follow up imaging after ultrasound > HIDA

treatment = IV fluids, antibiotics, bowel rest

cholecystectomy > if biliary colic, acute/chronic cholecystitis, acalculous cholecystitis
