The following set of flashcards rank the most common words used in Tagalog/Filipino based on a UCLA corpus of Tag/Fil texts (Zuraw 2006). Excludes English terms adopted into Filipino. Conjugated verb forms have been grouped together (e.g. magsalita, nagsalita, salita) but paired only with the English infinitive (e.g. to speak) translation. Due to the volume of corpus, this is not an error-free set. Some words may be repeated, and there may be some mistakes. However, to the best of the creator's knowledge, the flashcards are accurate. As revisions are on-going, changes are likely to be made wherever needed.
Note: You will notice that certain words have the same English translation. This indicates that they may have different grammatical and contextual uses.
