Militia

The group of people in the British government who make or change its laws, and decide what policies the country should follow.

If the government repeals a law, it officially ends it, so that it is no longer valid.

The act of saying or showing public ally that you object to something.
Massacre
When a group of people are randomly and violently killed.
Monopoly
Company that has complete control of a service, so that it is impossible for others to get involved in it.

to move goods illegally into or out of a country
Boycott
To refuse to be involved in something (like the purchase of goods) in any way because you disapprove of it.
Propaganda
Propaganda is information, often inaccurate information, which a political organization publishes or broadcasts in order to influence people.
Taxes
When a person or company is taxed, they have to pay a part of their income or profits to the government. When goods are taxed, a percentage of their price has to be paid to the government.
