Fungicide Types

-protectant: active only on tissue surface
-systemic: moves into plant tissue and systemically within the plant. May provide therapeutic activity.

-non discriminatory modes action
-broad spectrum
-not absorbed through cuticle
-can be phytotoxic

-specific modes of action (can't kill plant).
-translocated by vascular system or cell to cell
-effective at lower application rates
-can be phytotoxic
