Piano
Instrument- The piano is an acoustic, stringed musical instrument invented in Italy by Bartolomeo Cristofori around the year 1700 (the exact year is uncertain), in which the strings are struck by hammers. It is played using a keyboard,[1] which is a row of keys (small levers) that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands to cause the hammers to strike the strings. The word piano is a shortened form of pianoforte, the Italian term for the early 1700s versions of the instrument, which in turn derives from gravicembalo col piano e forte[2] and fortepiano. The Italian musical terms piano and forte indicate "soft" and "loud" respectively,[3]

The long version as to how it works can be read here.
But let's keep it simple. We're going to do everything in the key of E, which means you'll be needing the chords of E, B, C#mi and A. You won't be able to play ALL of each song with them in most cases, but you should be able to work out the rest.

HEDWIG'S THEME (from the "Harry Potter" movies)
Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tabulated from the (much easier to play) piano score by David Atkinson
in October 1994.
V2.0 (11/94)
I have inlcuded left hand fingering underneath the tab. I think the
system I used is self-explanitary. The numbers 1 to 4 indicate the
Fingers (1=index,2=middle,3=ring,4=little(pinkie)). I have left out
fingering where a section is repeated or on parts where fingering is
blatantly obvious. If anyone needs an explanation, feel free to email
me.
I might just try a D minor version if I find the time and motivation.
Watch this space!
p = pull-off, h = hammer-on, s = slide
===== = sustain. However, to save me hassle, sustain all the bass notes
for a whole bar where possible.
The roman numerals above the tab indicate either full barres or half
barres. The ...s indicate how long the barre lasts.
Adagio Sostenuto.
