How do you explain the differences between pantheism and the doctrine of God's omnipresence?
Omnipresence means that God is everywhere; pantheism means that God is everything. The Bible teaches that although God is everywhere, and with His Creation. He is distinct from his creation. The idea of pantheism leads people to worship earthly objects (trees, rocks, etc.).
What is open theism?
The teaching that God does not know the future and is somehow "juked" by the free will of man. The teaching is a false doctrine and undermines the omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence of God.
Explain the differences between pantheism, panentheism and omnipresence using the example of an red oak tree:
Pantheism says that God is the red oak tree.
Panentheism says that God is in the red oak tree.
Omnipresence says that God made and sustains the red oak tree. It also states that God is "with" the red oak tree, but is distinct from it and the rest of his creation.
Can God make a rock so big that he cannot move it?
God doesn't play word games. Secondarily, God by nature does not act against himself, or contrary to himself, so why would God such a rock in the first place? That is to say, God is perfectly consistent and such a scenario certainly is not. Next, if you want to get the right answers, you must first answer the right questions.
Omnibenevolence relates to common grace. What is common grace?
Grace/Gifts that are common to all people(believers/unbelievers). This teaching is seen in the Sermon in the Mount when Jesus says in Matthew 5:45, "He makes the rain fall on the just and the unjust. Examples of common graces are food, marriage, children, fulfillment in a hobby, a picnic, music, the rain, and nature. Common grace confirms that all good gifts come from God(James 1:17).
