The book of Esther shows us how God preserves His people despite our half-heartedness, our lack of commitment, and the power of the enemy. By that Grace we are kept safe.

When God is absent God has not abandoned his promises or his people. God uses the faith and hope of morally compromised people to accomplish His purposes.

Trust God's providence even when we cannot see it at work and hope that no matter how bad things get He is committed to redeeming His people and His world.

Even though Judah is in Exile, living compromised lives, and God is "absent," He has not abandoned His people or His promises. Likewise, He will not abandon His people or His promises today.
