They brought war and surrender to the native americans and more population in the west. It also brought more fast things and new inventions, and more things.
How were the Native Americans impacted by the development of the west?
The westward expansion affected the Native Americans by kicking them out of their home and putting them into a new reservation to live. Then they American white people would come take it back for gold was on the land. They Native American people then would be placed some were else intill they were moved again and they started to fight because the white were mistreating them and moving them all over. They also were misjudged and many were killed, after they surrendered they were place into a different reservation for 4 years, and then moved to AZ. There kids were place into some boarding schools and they were not happy many whites tried to Americanize them by having them farm and changing what they were, eat, live, do, and speak. The westward expansion for Native Americans in all was bad for them.
