Argument
a disagreement about a topic. Authors use this to write about topics
Claim
a statement made by an author where they make a stance on a topic
Counterclaim
a statement made that opposes the claim and creates an argument against the author's claim
Evidence
a fact that can be proven; credible information that is used to support the claim
Reasoning
the explanation of the evidence using logical information and author's opinion to support the evidence
Bias
a statement that is made when there is unfair reasoning in favor or against one thing, person, or group compared to another
Conclusion
the last paragraph of the article that summarizes the reasoning, restates the claim and makes a recommendation if needed
