The argument's logical appeal. How well does the writer use facts and other supporting details to support his/her claims?
The argument's emotional appeal. How well does the writer tap into the readers emotions?
Subjective statements, wording, examples used by the author that make their argument unreliable.
The procedure by which we break down an intellectual or substantial whole into parts or components.
The opposite of analyze. Take individual pieces of information and combine them in order to gain a better understanding of a subject.
