Atmosphere
A thin layer of air that forms a protective covering around the planet.
Troposphere
The lowest layer of Earth's atmospheric layers. It is where humans live. Contains 99% of water vapor and 75% of atmospheric gases. This is the layer where clouds and weather occur.
Ionosphere
A layer within the Mesosphere and the Troposphere of electrically charged partials. In the Thermosphere that absorbs AM radio waves during the day and reflects them at night.
Ozone layer
layer of the Stratosphere with high concentration of ozone; absorbs most of the Sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation. Protects the Earth from harmful rays.
Ultravioletradiation
One of the many types of energy that come from the Sun. these rays can cause cancer.
CFCS
Chemical compounds used in some refrigerators, air conditioners, aerosol sprayer and in the products of foam packing.
Pressure
Force exerted on an area.
Air Pressure
This makes it harder to breath as you go higher in to Earth's atmosphere. As you go higher in Earth's atmosphere, air pressure decreases.
Radio Waves
The Ionosphere allows this to travel across the country to another country.
