the pt at this level is unable to process information, may have aggressive/ hostile behavior, may try to remove restraint and g-tubes,crawl out of bed
-pt may have short attention span and if not physically disable may be able to perform gross motor such as reaching and ambulating.
in this level the pt is confused inappropriate and non agitated
-the pt appears to be alert, they can respond to commands fairly consistent
-pt is highly distractible and lack the inability to focus on specific task requiring frequent redirection and also lacks initiation for functional task
-memory is severely impaired cannot learn new information
