Method of Scriptural interpretation based on the meaning of words in the literary and historical context. In proper literal sense, the words are understood in their ordinary meaning.

Reading a story full care and regard for literary forms and styles being used.

Refers to various styles of writings that communicate a message through particular creative means. (historical, judicial, prophetic, apocalyptic, wisdom..etc)
