The second week's set of fifteen vocab words for Mrs. Donovan's AP Lang class. These are as close as possible to the definitions she gave in class, with leading indefinite articles elided.

adj: intended to instruct, especially about moral or ethical concerns
adj: asserting opinions in an arrogant manner as if unchallengeable
n: the use of ambiguous expression in order to mislead; evasiveness
