one who goes against the main character

The means by which the personality of a character is revealed (think of in the scooby doo when they always have someone revealed)
Climax
the moment in the story when the climax reaches its highest point of tension
Denoument
the point in the story where the conflict is resolved
Conflict
the opposition of two forces or characters

Dialect
a form of language peculiar to a region or group
Dialoge
conversation between two or more characters

background information on the characters
Flashback
a movement in time from the present back to the past
Foreshadowing
information given to the reader telling the reader a hint or what will happen in the future of the story

the internal factors that cause a character to act in a certain way
