A music note that is equal to one beat (1) of time. It is represented by a solid dot with a plain stem.
A music note that is equal to one half (1/2) of a beat of time. It is represented by a solid dot with a hooked stem. They are usually grouped in sets of two.
A music note that is equal to two (2) beats of time. It is represented by a hollow dot with a plain stem.
A music note that is equal to four beats (4) of time. It is represented by a hollow dot with NO stem.
Quarter Note Rest
A symbol that represents one quarter (1) note worth of SILENCE.
