This changed the lifestyles of various populations forever. Example being that the Spanish brought horse to the America's and this changed the Native American's ability to explore.
Treaty of Tordesillas
A 1494 agreement between Portugal and Spain, declaring that newly discovered lands to the west of an imaginary line in the Atlantic Ocean would belong to Spain and newly discovered lands to the east of the line would belong to Portugal.
Italian navigator who travelled for Spain. He went across the Atlantic several times and discovered South America and called it the New World. American was named after him.
A Portuguese navigator who sailed for Spain, we was said to have travelled around the world but he died and his shipmates continued on to complete the around the world mission.
