Why is the model not so simple?
It is really complicated, there are so many pitfalls. such as wrong interpretations.
At or above the level of your audience (notch higher). Do not wear a hat, dangly jewelry, bright/distracting colors or patterns, no message t-shirts, lighter weight and comfortable clothing (attitude sense and physically).

Feet shoulder width apart, evenly weighted and feet FLAT on floor.

Hands at side, naturally bent, oooorrrrr... hold your notes out, rest 1 or both hands on the lecturn -light and relaxed- or with 1 hand IN pocket.
3-5 seconds with each person, in their eyes, not their head or forehead, in different parts of the room and not with just friends and definitely not just the teacher.
With the physically real format as much as possible, Preferably with live audience, then recording, and then mirror. Use visual aids as much as you can and DONT STOP.
Can be anything, note cards, outline (color code) or writing out word for word BUT DONT READ.
Fight or Flight response which is natural ( sweat, red face, shaking, faster breathing, or talking too fast) because of adrenaline (chemical). It is natural and good.
Strategies for stage fright
Be prepared and practice, calming techniques (progressive relaxation, 5 count breath, body shake, exaggerated yawn), positive mental attitude.
From stomach, 2 volume notches louder (be heard), avoid vocalized pauses, pause slightly between main points then raise voice slightly, avoid upspeak.
Pen and paper, write everything down, talk to friends and family
