Polygon with three sides. Classified by angle and by sides
Acute Scalene
A triangle with all acute angle and has no equal sides.
Right Scalene Triangle
A triangle that one right angle and no equal sides.
Obtuse Scalene Triangle
A triangle that has one obtuse angle and no equal sides.
Acute Isosceles Triangle
A triangle that has all acute angles and has two equal sides.
Right Isosceles Triangle
A triangle that has one right angle and two equal sides.
Obtuse Isosceles Triangle
A triangle that has one obtuse angle and two equal sides.
Equilateral Triangle
A triangle with all sides and angles equal (congruent).
Quadrilateral
Four sided polygon.
Parallelogram
A quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides
Rectangle
A quadrilateral with four 90 degrees angles
Rhombus
A quadrilateral with four equal sides
Square
A quadrilateral with four 90 degrees angles and four equal sides.
Trapezoid
A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides
