Weathering
Breaking down of rocks into earth materials (soil) by water.
Erosion
Wearing away and movement of weathered materials
Tributary
Two or more streams or rivers join together
Sediment
Soil that has been eroded and deposited by moving water.
Mouth
Where water finally enters an ocean or lake
Delta
At the mouth of a stream or river, where sediment has been deposited, often in a triangular shape
Rill
Narrow channel carved by surface runoff
