Color Gamut
The range of colors that is defined by the color profile; when working within a given color profile, color choices are selected from the gamut 1.03

Color system manufacturers create standardized colors for communicating color information across apps and processes, i.e. Pantone 1.03

A process where the color characteristics for every device in the imaging chain is known precisely and utilized in color reproduction 1.03
