What is the procedure for handling an exposure incident in the salon.
Stop service. Put on gloves. Apply pressure to the area with a clean cotton ball or gauze. once the bleeding has stopped, clean the area with an antiseptic wipe. Bandage the cut. Clean and disinfect the work stations. Discard all single use items. Clean and disinfect all multi use items. Remove gloves and wash hands.
