What's your biggest strength?
Delegation of tasks, empathy, multi-tasking
What's your biggest weakness?
Like everyone, I have many areas of weakness. However, I believe that my biggest weakness is impatience. Since I get so wrapped up in my work and in getting jobs accomplished that I lose patience not only with myself but also with others.
Optimism in the face of the unknown. Which also goes hand in hand with patience
How are you working on your weakness?
I'm working on building my patience, just by taking a step back and looking at the grand scheme of things. It is okay to need practice, and to take the time to perfect things. Most people are not great at something right away.
How do you handle conflict?
With all conflict I stop and try to assess the situation, take an objective stance and do not try to personalize the issue. I also practice empathy in situations like these. What could that person have felt or been going through at the time, to have done or say that. And then when I speak with them about it, show my empathy towards the situation.
What sets you apart from other candidates?
My ability to handle so many moving parts at once. My past jobs have been very fast faced, and so I have learned well how to keep up and how to multitask effectively.
Why should we hire you?
I am passionate, empathetic, and a great team worker. Work ethic is something that is very important to me. I strive to not only do my best on every shift, but to also learn from all of those around me.
What specifically makes you want to work at Mt. Caramel?
I am aware of all the exceptional care employees at Mt. Carmel employees put into their work. With Mt. Caramel West being recognized as one of the Best Regional Hospitals, it would make me proud to work along side the team that made that possible. (GI surgery specialty, heart failure, colon cancer, and hip and knee replacement procedures)
