regular polygon
A polygon with equal angles and equal sides.
convex
A polygon is convex if any two interior points can be connected with a segment that lies completely within the polygon
concave
a polygon that is not convex
Trapezoid
A quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides
Parallelogram
a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel
Rhombus
A parallelogram with four congruent sides
rectangle
A parallelogram with four right angles
square
A parallelogram with four congruent sides and four right angles.

A segment that joins two nonconsecutive vertices of a polygon
