Boycott
To refuse to buy one or more goods from a certain source.
Mercenary
A soldier who fights for any country or group that will pay him.
Patriot
American colonists who wanted independence from Britain.
Siege
Surrounding an enemy city to cut off supplies and force a surrender.
Cavalry
Soldiers who fight on horseback
Repeal
To withdraw, or cancel, a law.
Treason
Betraying one's own country by waging war against it or acting to aid its enemies

Agreement signed in Paris on September 3, 1783 ending the American Revolution. 1) Britain recognized U.S. as a country 2) Britain gave up claims to land (except canada) 3) U.S. agreed to return property to Loyalists (but didn't)
