eternal feeding
aka-- tube feedings
provision of nutrients using the GI tract, which deliver nutrient dense formulas directly to the stomach or small intestine via a thin flexible tube
appropriate candidates for tube feedings

orogastic
this tube is inserted into the stomach through the mouth. this method is often used to feed infants because a nasogastric tube may hinder the infants breathing

contain macronutrients that have been broken down to some extent and require less digestion
