One point perspective
is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line
is a polygon mesh that has a relatively small number of polygons, no smoothing modifers, etc.
is an animated storyboard. Storyboards are brought into an editing program and are cut together with the correct timing and pace of the film. They include basic sounds.
subject of a talk, a piece of writing, a person's thoughts, or a creative project.
is work which goes into a project before digital production / filming begins. All the details are ironed out (as best you can) in it. We are using it packet to plan or our "The Challenge" character animation.
in Premiere can be keyframed for position, rotation, scale, etc. This allows the designer to animate what could be static elements, to create more visual interest.
The Ken Burns effect
is a type of panning and zooming effect used in video production from still imagery. The feature enables a widely used technique of embedding still photographs in motion pictures, displayed with slow zooming and panning effects, and fading transitions between frames.
files allow content from Blender to be exported and brought into Game Engines such as Unreal.
The Close Large Gaps
option of the Paint Bucket Tool is an extremely useful setting which allows the designer to use a whimsical, organic art style without needing to close each shape to NASA levels of precision.
is the process of 'unfolding' a mesh so that you can create a 2D texture which fits the 3D object.
are character animations where the character isn't doing anything specific.
allow Game Designers to use image files as materials, such as .jpg's.
are numeric values which cannot be changed during the game. We used it to change the roughness value of our material to remove the reflective nature of it.
in Unreal allow the designer to decide how accurate the boundaries of an object are. they can be as simple as a box for low detail objects, to as high as the model itself for hyper realistic interaction states.
is used to create a blank keyframe.
