Line

Rules that govern how artist organize the elements of art. These consist of rhythm, movement, balance, proportion, variety, emphasis, harmony, and unity
Emphasis
Principles of art that makes one part of a work dominant over the other parts. The element noticed first is called dominant; the elements notice later are called subordinate
Unity
The quality of wholeness or oneness that is achieved through the effective use of the elements and principles of art. It is created by simplicity, repetition, and proximity
