conditional statement
A logical statement that has two parts, a hypothesis and a conclusion

deductive reasoning
the process of using facts, properties, or rules to justify reasoning or reach valid conclusions
inductive reasoning
A type of logic in which generalizations are based on a large number of specific observations.

A point that divides a segment into two congruent segments
Bisector
A point, line or line segment that divides a segment or angle into two equal parts.
complementary angles
Two angles whose sum is 90 degrees
supplementary angles
Two angles whose sum is 180 degrees
vertical angles
A pair of opposite congruent angles formed by intersecting lines.

adjacent angles
Angles that have a common side and a common vertex (corner point).
