Priest- he offered hi life to us on the alter of the cross
Prophet- he spoke for his father and shared the fullness of salvation

Jesus is the natural son of the father, he is made of the same nature. Humans are the adoptive sons of the father. The belief in the Son of God in a sign of Christian faith.
what is the purpose of the title "Son of God"?
Lord comes from the Greek Kyrios, we call his that because He is God.
what does Lord mean, why do we call Jesus Lord?
We sometimes refer to Jesus as the Suffering Servant because he takes on the suffering of his people and takes away the sins of the world.
We refer to him as the "Son of Man" because it emphasizes Jesus' humanity, he suffers just as we suffer.
