sediments and minerals that fill a mold and has the same outside shape as the original living thing.
examples: A hallow space was left where a bone belonging to an ancient bird was buried.. Minerals filled space.
How does a mold form?
water washes animal or plant remains out of a rock. the space left matches the shape of the once- living thing.
