Putting things together. Like glueing, sewing, staple, etc.
Gathering or arranging in order. 1234, or ABCD.
Anything that happens after you print. Binding, folding, mailing, laminating, etc.
Placing one signature or sheet inside another.
Vibrating paper by machine or hand to make sure all pages line up evenly.
Binding a booklet or multiple pages using adhesive (glue).
Partially cutting in a broken line so it can easily be torn away. Like a postage stamp, concert ticket, coupon, bill.
Crease by machine to make something fold easy. Like pizza box, envelope, plastic toy parts.
Staples of wire that bind things together. "Saddle Stitching" is how magazines are folded and stapled together.
Cutting edges to make them even.
Consecutive numbers on books, tickets, invoices (bill), etc.
The process of cutting special shapes. Similar to how a cookie cutter.
Using pressure, makes a surface both raised and lowered. Like a napkin or toilet paper.
Forcing tiny fibers (like glitter or gloss) to create an unusual texture.
Embossing with metallic coating. Usually on expensive items like wedding invitations. Uses heat.
Applying a plastic coating.
Applying a protective coat. Like on furniture, to keep it protected.
