Deucalion & Pyrrha
the son of Prometheus and the daughter of Epimetheus and Pandora; hit by a flood caused by Zeus to end the human race (Prometheus advised them to make a boat). Recreated the human race by throwing the bones of their mother over their shoulder (rocks).
Baucis & Philemon
Elderly peasants. The only ones who gave Zeus and Hermes hospitality and kindness. During the meal they noticed that the wine kept being refilled; the gods revealed themselves and took them to safety while the rest of the city was a lake. Zeus offered to grant them anything and they asked that they become the keepers of the temple and that when they die, neither would outlive the other.
Lycaon
King who intruded the laws of hospitality by trying to serve Zeus a stew made of his own son to see if Zeus really was Zeus. Punished and turned into a wolf.
Argus
Hundred-eyed guard of Io and had his eyes placed on a peacock's feathers.
Sisyphus
pushes a rock uphill only to see it roll down before reaching the top.
Tantalus
Stole nectar and ambrosia from the Gods so was punished to not be able to eat nor drink anything.
Ixion
Tried to rape Hera but was deluded by a cloud. Punished by being pinned to a flaming wheel.
Tityus
Tried to rape Leto but was shot by Artemis and Apollo.
Danaids
The 50 maidens who are condemned to fill a bottomless reservoir in the Underworld.
Ascalabus
Turned into a lizard for making fun of Demeter.
Demophon
was going to be turned immortal by Demeter by roasting him over fire.
Triptolemus
Demophons' brother who was taken under Demeter's wing; teaching him everything she knew. (goes around in a winged chariot spreading the knowledge).
Arachne
Turned into a spider after a weaving contest with Athena. She thought she could beat Athena (Gods/Goddess never lose) in weaving, Athena jealous that she could measure up to her was in a rage.
Niobe
Boasted that she had better children than Leto and that she could do Leto's job better. Apollo and Artemis killed all her children and then turned into a weeping stone after her children's death.
Admetus
Apollo was sent to serve him for a year; Apollo granted him 3 things (for being kind and respectful to him), all his cattle bore twins, won Alcestis' hand for him, and granted him not to die if someone took his place.
Alcestis
Sacrificed herself so her husband would not die but was later rescued by Heracles.
Marsyas
Challenged by Apollo to a musical contest. Loser would be treated however the other wished. He lost and was skinned alive.
Actaeon
Fatally offended Artemis; she turned him into a stag and he was torn to pieces by his own dogs. The dogs howled in grief when they couldn't find his human form so Chiron made a statue of him to soothe the dogs.
Orion
was born from a bull hide on which three gods urinated in. He was a great blind hunter; guided by Hephaestus to be healed by Apollo; got his vision back and was a hunter of Artemis. Killed by a giant scorpion.
Meleager
Was faithed to live as long as a log on the fire.
Atalanta
Virgin huntress who's father tried to marry her off she only agreed to marry that which would beat her. Milanion was the one whom won.
Milanion/Hippomenes
Prayed to Aphrodite that he would race against Atalanta so he could marry her. Aphrodite gave him 3 golden apples to distract her and he married her. He forgot to thank Aphrodite so they were turned to lions.
Aeneas
son of Aphrodite and Ancises; a Trojan leader
Pygmalion
the king who sculpted an image of his ideal women, which later came to life.
Cinyras
Father of Myrrha; who's wife thought her children were prettier than Aphrodite; her punishment was to have 2 of their daughters move with their foreign husbands and the last, Myrrha, to fall in love with him.
Myrrha/Smyrna
Daughter of Cinyras and mother of Adonis. Fell in love with her father as punishment from Aphrodite for her mothers' mistake.

Dionysus' female followers who would follow him and engage in orgies.
satyrs
Woodland spirits in form of men with goat legs and horns; associated with Dionysus.
Lycurgus
Drove away Dionysus and his Maenads when he went to Thrace. Was punished by being intoxicated and trying to rape his mother. He thought he was slashing grapevies when he was murdering his son.
Pentheus
King of Thebes who tried to run out Dionysus and his followers. Punished by being intoxicated and ripped to shreds by his mother.
Minyades
3 daughters of King Minyas who didn't honor Dionysus; were driven crazy and tore apart one of the sisters' sons.
Icarius
Treated Dionysus well and his daughter taught Dionysus how to cultivate grapes and make wine. He gave his neighbors wine and they thought he was poisoning them so they murdered him and threw him in a river. His daughter hung her self. As punishment to the neighbors, Dionysus drove the women mad and caused them to hang themselves.
