Lymphadenitis
regions of swelling and tenderness of the lymph nodes
Lymphedema
an abnormal condition in which tissues exhibit swelling (edema) because of accumulation of lymph
Lymphoma
term that refers to lymphatic tumors
Hodgkin's disease
a type of lymphoma characterized as painless swelling of the lymph nodes in the neck, progressing to other regions
Contact dermatitis
a local skin inflammation lasting a few hours or days after being exposed to the antigen (poison ivy)

abnormal spleen enlargement that can be caused by scarlet fever, syphilis or typhoid fever

nearly complete failure of the lymphocytes to develop properly, in turn causing failure of the immune system's defense of the body; very rare congenital immune disorder

a disease in which the human immunodeficiency virus attacks T-cells, thereby compromising the body's immune system
