What is the pathway of the sperm?
the sperm starts its journey at the testes where they are produced, then they travel to the epididymis where they are stored and matured, next they travel through the vas deferens to the seminal vesicle where they get a source of energy and go to the prostate gland, where they get a fluid that protects them, they travel to the bulbourethral gland where they get protection from acidic conditions finally the sperm travel through the urethra and out of the penis when they are ejaculated during orgasm.

females usually produce only one mature egg each month.
How does the menstrual cycle work?
an ovary releases a mature egg, the egg travels to the uterus, if the egg is not being fertilized the uterine lining begins to shed and a new the next cycle one begins.

What is the difference between the ovaries and testes.
the ovaries produce estrogen and progesterone, they produce eggs, there are 2 ovaries. the testes produce testosterone, produce sperms, there are 2 testes

occurs every month/28 days

an egg matures in one of the ovaries, and the uterine lining thickens
the ovary releases the mature egg during ovulation
the egg travels through the fallopian tube to the uterus, and the uterine lining continues to thicken. this when females are most fertile
